Ok. We’ve made this as easy as we possibly can . . .

THE FIRST SATURDAY IN MAY will be showing in an exclusive engagement at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame FOR THE ENTIRE SARATOGA MEET.
No more excuses. The goddam movie is playing across the street daily from one the most beautiful racetracks in the world. Do yourself a favor and get to Saratoga this summer - even if you don’t care about our stinkin’ movie.
It’s playing almost every day at 10 AM - and again at 3:00 on Tuesdays. Check out their website for the exact schedule or call 518-584-0400.

If you’ve never been to Delaware Park, get there this Sunday . . .

. . . a truly undiscovered gem of the mid-Atlantic. And you’ll get to see a free screening of THE FIRST SATURDAY IN MAY after the last race.
I’ll be there selling DVD’s and the official movie poster as guests of the great group . . . the Fans of Barbaro (FOB). I’ll have a table in their tent. Come out to enjoy the Delaware Handicap and the second Annual Barbaro Stakes.
And if you live in the Albany, NY/Capital region, there is a free screening at the Albany Teletheater at 7:00. The DVD and official movie poster will also be available. John will be there to sign the merch. Come up, say hello and enjoy what promises to be a great night.

And if the links disappear eventually, here’s what he said:
Asked to put the win in career perspective, Zito referenced a song used in the documentary “The First Saturday in May,” which chronicled the 2006 Derby.
“They have a song in there, I think, that’s absolutely appropriate to what happened today, ‘Rain or Shine,’ and today was shine.”

Can’t believe we missed it. We got wrapped up in a marathon TV session . . .

When Lance Kerwin is on, forget it. Skillz like that can cause one to miss races like the Belmont Stakes . . .

Legends abound this Friday! Come see two of the three living Triple Crown jockeys - Ron Turcotte (SECRETARIAT ‘73) . . .

. . . and Jean Cruguet (SEATTLE SLEW ‘78) . . .

. . . this Friday @ 7:00 at Mickey Mantle’s (42 Central Park South, 59th Street between 5th and 6th).

We’ll also be there signing copies of the DVD. Should be a great night.
Then on Saturday, come out to Belmont Park. We’ll be there selling and signing DVD’s.

We’ll be in the grandstand area in the brick collanade walkway that you must walk by to get out to the track. A lot of other vendors there too so stop by!
Supposed to be an amazing day and - trust us - you’ll be kicking yourself if you can’t say you were there for the first Triple Crown in 30 years. Play it safe and be there!
