Sorry we have been so lame on the posts. Between releasing the film in 20 cities and getting the word out Derby week, lot of balls in the air. Thought we’d share some of the highlights of the last two weeks.

We were lucky enough to do a ton of radio including . . .

Q 104.3’s Shelli Sonstein

Bob Edwards XM show.

He was in DC . . .

NPR’s Leonard Lopate where we met UGA and Jersey General legend. . .

. . . Herschel Walker. And all of his personalities.

Then it was off to Sirius satellite radio for “The Wiseguy Show” with Vinnie Pastore of Big Pussy fame . . .

For fans of his cult show, the guy in the cap on Vinnie’s left is the legendary Uncle Floyd.

Next is was off to our main man . . . Ferrall!!!

Coolest guy in radio. We loved the show. His producer Lou Pellegrino - equally as awesome - has invited us to call back and appear to help promote the DVD sales. Thanks guys. You get it.

Sorry about our lack of posts the last few days. We will give you plenty of updates and pictures on our Derby trip in the next few days.

One highlight was meeting our new friend Skip. You may recognize him from our film and the trailer.

In the meantime, here are some of our thoughts re: Big Brown . . . We originally posted this on our blog after the Florida Derby . I must confess though, I had a hard time putting any $ on Big Brown at 2 to 1 in a 20 horse field from the 20th pp. I bet several triples with Big Brown, Eight Belles, but no Denis of Cork … the result? I made $0. Lots to talk about. Back soon . . .

PLEASE SEE THE MOVIE THIS WEEKEND! Not only do we need the box office to remain relevant and continue to book art house theaters across the country - but it the PERFECT way to get ready for next Saturday’s Derby.

Not that it’s that big a draw to have us anywhere - let alone a movie screening - but some people like it.

Although we performed really well, we have been given the hook in both cities due to impending film festivals.

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE SEEING THIS FILM ON THE BIG SCREEN! PLEASE GO SEE IT BEFORE THURSDAY!

Thanks to our friends in DC and Indianapolis (especially Sally Bonneau!!) for all your help. Buy tickets even if you can’t make it. It will help!

Box office report is as follows . . .

The movie grossed $55,000 in 20 cities nationwide. Our “per screen average” placed us in the top 10 in the country - doubling the average of the highly anticipated WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN? With virtually no TV commercials (except of the two that Peter Rotondo and the NTRA got on the air for us!!), we see this is an amazing accomplishment.Thanks to all our friends, horsemen and racetracks who stepped up and helped us have a respectable weekend.

We can’t rest on our laurels however. We need to sustain the momentum. IF YOU DID NOT SEE THE MOVIE OR BUY TICKETS THIS WEEKEND, PLEASE DO SO NOW.

Today we will find out where we will be held over and where we won’t be asked to return. Stay tuned!
