Meet Cousin Paul Parrish and his secret recipe for Cousin Paul’s Derby Pie . . . .
First, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Then go get this stuff at the Kroger . . .
1/3 - cup melted butter
2 - eggs
1 - cup sugar
1/3 - cup flour
1 - cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 1/2 - cups pecans (chopped or whole)
1 - shot Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Mix eggs with melted butter. Add flour & sugar and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans (if using chopped) & whiskey. Pour mix into pie shell, arrange pecans (if using whole) on top of mix. Bake
at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool before serving.
