John: Had the baby at home this morning as I worked. As there was much to accomplish before we left on vacation, I found myself on the phone for long stretches. When the television failed to tame the beast, he acted out with small shrieks and began pawing at me. In desperation and deep into an important call, I reached for the “‘taw-tools” ( aka pretzels) and tossed several at his feet.
The beast responded by grabbing a few then shuffling off to see if Dora found the big orange mesa for which she had been searching.
This old- lady- to-pigeon relationship lasted on and off for about an hour until I realized I was approaching the “Deadbeat Dad” area on the parental barometer.
Packed for trip, organized taxes and spoke with Brad about new ending he was working on. Looks good. Cousin Evan did some fine work as well.
Looking forward to some sun in the islands.
Will be nice to try and chill my uptight ass out . . . Taking the week off blog fans. More hilarious adventures of two guys trying to make a movie coming up February 18th . . .
